This is the website of the Owners' Association (VvE) “Residentie Pieter de Hooch” at Pieter de Hoochstraat 13-25 in Amsterdam.
General
Residentie Pieter de Hooch is an apartment building in a central location in Amsterdam, in the South district. It is situated between Hobbemakade and Museumplein. The historic center, De Pijp with its many shops, market, and restaurants, and museums such as the Stedelijk, Rijksmuseum, and Van Gogh Museum are within walking or cycling distance. Pieter de Hoochstraat is a quiet street with no through traffic.
The building consists of 56 apartments, with a private parking garage for the owners underneath. A PTT office used to stand on the site where Residentie Pieter de Hooch now stands. Demolition and construction work on the building began in 1996. It was completed in early 2000. Two well-known Amsterdam architectural firms were responsible for the design of the apartment building:
